Dear students,
We are looking forward to seeing you at induction. Please see details below. We are aware of the UCD graduation on September 7th. Resources from the day will be made available along with a check in as required. Any outstanding queries re registration will be dealt with at induction.

Day 1 – Monday 5th September 2pm to 5pm
Venue – TBC
Programme
2pm – 2.15pm – Welcome Address – Deputy Head of School Professor Judith Harford
2.15pm – 3.15pm the PME team will also facilitate sessions on:
● Protocols for School Placement
● Supports for the Beginning Teacher
● Overview of the Tutor Role
3.15pm -3.30pm Tea/coffee
3.30pm – 5pm Tutorial

The PME team will facilitate sessions on:
● Child Protection & Health & Wellbeing
● Classroom and Behaviour Management
● Fundamentals of Teaching, Learning and Assessment for the Beginning Teacher
● University student support
● An overview of the year one handbook

Car Parking in UCD
Induction week is outside of term time so a parking permit is not required for permit parking spaces. Please note that Visitor Parking and Premium Parking are not free.
